The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city, as it is close to the center and within walking distance of most tourist sites. We also enjoyed being close to some great 'off the beaten track' cheaper restaurants serving typical rustic Tuscan food or great quality pizzerias. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect, and the hotel facilities provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It is also within walking distance to absolutely everything in the city, making it extremely convenient for exploring. The rooms are stylishly restored and provide a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, assisting with restaurant reservations and sightseeing recommendations. The hotel also offers a spa with a plunge pool in the basement, providing a relaxing experience.

One negative aspect is that the breakfast offered at the hotel is described as dull and lacking variety.

We had a wonderful romantic getaway in this hotel. The location was perfect, with all the key attractions within walking distance. We were able to explore the city easily and even enjoyed a short walk to the nearest market and restaurants. The breakfast provided was good, with a variety of options to choose from.

There were a few things that were a bit disappointing. we had requested no daily housekeeping, but our room was still entered and remade without our permission.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in a historic building. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance of all the major attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was beautifully furnished and decorated. I especially loved the modern bathroom with its long bath and the extra touch of a hairdryer-sized electric heater. The delightful simple breakfast was a great way to start the day, although the grumpy waitress at 9.20 could have been more cheerful.
